I caught the second episode last night. It seems they have some pretty interesting cases but they don't share a whole lot of their evidence.

I read on their blog that they will show more of their evidence, but they don't want the show to be another ghost hunters. I though they handled everything well.

Hopefully we'll see a lot more PA cases. It's interesting to find out what's going on around you.

Last night they had two new shows. I though they did an awesome job with both of them. I am surprised that they didn't call the police on the first show.

I guess they would have been searching for someone long gone so that might be why... I am also shocked that the police would have just dropped off an urn and not try to find out who it belonged to.. I do enjoy the show but I wish I could have seen why the motion dectors were going off.. if they had any pics of that...

I thought they were both pretty cool episodes. The reaction of the dog to the house was pretty wild.

I am so glad I am not the only one hooked on Paranormal State. I dont think they showed an episode yet where chills didnt run down my back. Lets see how we rate Ghosthunters International. I enjoy it more when the cases are more close to home (like right here in PA)

Hey Jen, where did Ken disappear to? I have been trying to get in touch with him.

Mark, honestly we never see each other since he started the fire department. I guess you could say he did disappear. Is something wrong? We will be at the meeting. I am just guessing you want to set something up to meet with Kathy. If that is the case, Ken is off next weekend, we can definately meet with her. I am anxious to do any investigation there. I am just so curious about finding any truth to ANY claims. I think given the background and knowledge of the three of us, we can definately rule out a lot. I will email you Ken's cell phone just incase that isnt what you are trying to get in touch with him for. Talk to you soon.

Well I have to say I found some simular things between the "dark man" case on this show and the Jessup house?? right???

I know I wasn't there but from the reports I heard at the last meeting yes it was similar. It is actually a very common accurance to have dreams of people who have died with there eyes blacked out. Usually means that they have not moved on yet.

The first time I talked to the Jessup family I thought the same exact thing. Quite a similarity!

Tonight's episode:
Mothman
The team is going to Point Pleasant, West Virginia to investigate the Mothman.
~*~*~*~*~
I'm skeptical about this, so it will be interesting to see what they find.

Yesterday's episode, Freshman Fear, was interesting. They were at Penn State. A girl played the 100 candle game and then claims there was a ghost in her room. I never heard of the 100 candle game. I guess it is an acient Japanese game. I don't think I would ever want to play it either.

The Knickerbocker Hotel in Linesville, Pennsylvania.
It looks like it will be an interesting show.

tehe big thing with paranoramal state is they are a penn state group that actually is pretty choosey on how they get members. YOu must be have amaster's degree or a PDH to be on that team.

Yes, I agree. They are very choosey on how they get members. You must be a Penn State student, faculty, or staff member, or a higher education (like Rick said). They also accept people from State College or that has a specialty like Reiki, history, etc. It's probably an extremely hard group to get into. I also think members must attend a weekly class, do homework, and write papers (like you would in a college course). Needless to say, I'm extremely happy here! This is a much more welcoming group.

They got connections but so far don't want to share. I sent an email asking for help with the Jessup case for some counseling and other assistance information but told them the family was not interested on being on TV. As of this posting they still have not responded.
