I haven't even heard of it Ali. But if it's on SCIFI I'm sure it will be on again. Is it a series or a one time special?

Bob Larson who has been dealing with demons for a long time. I have not noticed him in a while. which means that he has dropped off the radar screen.
To some he is a fake, and to others he is real deal. I have seen excorcisms and similar events, what he does matches up well with my experiances.

I guess my perceptions were very off...I was expecting things from the exorcist the movie..not the head spinning but I guess more cursing, more painful screaming from holy water, things of that nature..some of it just seemed wierd to me..

I dvrd it and finally got to watch it. Im still on the fence about it. Me personally, I know hes trying to bring the numbers of excorsisms that are needed to the surface I would like to know more about just what types and then reasons behind them rather then just putting a bible on someones head and performing and excorsism. I'll still watch regardless.

On the one show the woman could go into chruch and read from the bible but whenever she prayed then the "demon" would try to stop her... Doesnt that sound a little wierd??

only if you don't understand the whole God vs Satan battle. Once a person is "possessed" then their actions are affected by the demon(s). One of the things that happen is any attempt to get help or relief is met with resistance. If the lady was trully possessed, she may ba able to function almost normally, but at the same time she may experiance oppression when she enters a church. there is a lot more regarding this. I'll try to put it together.

Speaking of excorism. Wonder if a person came to your house and then out of the blue they become possessed. Someone then performs an exorcism on them to get rid of the demon. My question is, could the demon get back in the house that this person was possessed in...even if the demon came with the person and wasn't "attached" to the house (meaning they're "attached" to the person?
Hope that makes sense. I'm super tired.

From what I know: the demon is ususally sent to the appoint place (Hell or the lake of fire) Jesus sent the demons to a heard of pigs where teh pigs all ran and drowned. this would have been released into the wild so to speak. I'll look for more info on this. Rick

Michelle, Rick may be better suited to answer this question but here is my 2 cents.
It depends whether the exorcism removes the demon from the body or whether it banishes them to whence they came.
If it only kicks them out of the body then I would say that it is plausible if not likely that they would hang around looking for another vessel.
If it sends them back to their home, then they have to find their way back here and I would say that it is much less likely that they would find the same place.
Tom.
By the way when does this show air?

Michelle,
From what I know once an exorcism occurs (like Tom said) it depends on whether it (the demon) is banished from the body or sent forth from which it came. Now why anyone good clergy or appointed person doing and exorcism would just banish and knowingly (or unknowingly) put other people in danger is beyond me. That is why only knowledge and experienced CLERGY appointed by a specific church should do these things so they can be done right. It is in my opinion just having a strong faith does not qualify you to be able to do exorcisms. I have a very strong faith and I am ordained and I would never think of doing them. Once you open that box you can/may be targeted for the rest of your life and could be in danger. So, unless I am called by a higher power. Thats how I stand. Anyway I am ranting. Once and exorcism is done and if it is done correctly, it is rare that the malevolent entity returns. Even if is just banished it is rare that it would return. Just due to the fact that there is so much good in the room/house at that time there is no room for evil. A demon/Malevolent Entity needs discontent, anger, etc. to be able to thrive/survive. So it would be easier to go on to its next victim, than to try and break down someone in the same place.
That is just my opinion any questions just ask
Eric
