Hi group, I'm going through my stuff to see what I can say I'll bring on the training investigation and I was wondering if anyone knows how well the night vision on a Canon ZR850 works for paranormal investigation. If it is worth it I'll bring it along on the investigation. Thanks.

Will,
I am not familiar with the night vision on the Cannon, but feel free to bring it along and we'll give it a try.

OK. No problem I'll bring it along and hopefully it will work good.

Will, Check to see what the LUX setting is. the lower the number the better, IR camers will support a zero lux level.

According to the specs my camera has a LUX setting of 2 in night mode. Is that low enough for basic investigation. I know its not a true night vision camera, I bought it before I thought I'd be using it for ghost hunting.

Will,
We will have to give it a try to find out how low it will go, but even if it does not work well for no light situations, you will find that there will be plenty of times that it will come in very handy. We will run it through its paces on Saturday.
