I'm new to the group. Hope I am doing this right. We live in a "new" house my husband built himself - moved in in 1986. About 15 years ago, we heard two men and a woman talking upstairs and someone fiddling on the piano (not playing it). No one was there. After that, there were incidents of the sound of sliding glass doors opening and shutting (we have a lot of them), the glass shattered in one of them (an inside door) and very loud stomping on the floor upstairs. We kept seeing what looked like a cat out of the corner of our eyes, slinking along the floor. We called in a psychic who did a table tapping with us and we heard what sounded like drumming in the ceiling when I asked for a sign. The psychic said there were Indian ghosts in the house and on the land all around here. But mainly there is an Indian male who stays right outside the sliding glass door up in the back yard (the house is two levels). That is where the loud stomping occurred. Occasionally, the ghost comes downstairs to investigate if someone new is visiting. A sensitive friend was here a couple of weeks ago and we were not discussing any ghosts. Suddenly, she said, "Someone is with us. It's a man and he's big." Her arms were covered in goosebumps. On once incident, I felt someone in my bedroom, something like a cat on the bed jump off and both of my real cats were not in the bedroom - the door was shut. A shaman I know was visiting - she is part Native American herself, and she said she could see the ghost and confirmed that he hangs out by that back sliding glass door. Must by where he camps in his dimension. We have adapted to living with him and like him. Neither of us have ever seen him.

Sorry it took so long to get back - forgot to check! In answer to the question above, I live in northeastern PA on a lake. Lots of woods around. I assume the Indian is of the Iroquois nation. but which group therein, I don't know. I wrote a short story based on him, which will soon appear in The MacGuffin, a literary magazine. However, the story is fiction - nothing happened like the big rescue or anything. Since I posted that message above, a friend was visiting for a few days and slept in the upstairs bedroom where we usually sleep. She said that during the night, she snapped awake and thought I had walked into the room, but there was no one. She said she definitely sensed someone was there.

I really need to see this house and surrounding land. My remote intuitions are telling me something isn't meshing..
Lynda
(post modified)
My apologies to all, especially Margaret.. I see my comment - being vague - has been taken in many ways - none of which in the way it was intended.
Being of the Tawas Navajo tribe myself - the Maternal side of my family native to Taos, NM - and spiritually raised by an Inuit Shaman [medicine woman].. anything dealing with Native Americans are of great interest to me.
I realize that text venue can lose a lot in the translation and become very impersonal - and I should have known better than to just leave my comments so vague and open to intrepretation.
When I can better put what I'm feeling into words .. I'll post again.
In the mean time - I digress
And sincerely apologize..

Maragret has not visited since her last post, as far as I can tell anyway.
Margaret, if you are still checking in, please let us know. We would be interested in talking to you in person.
Tom.

Finally remembered to check in after ages. I noticed Lynda's comment about her remote viewing not checking in. Better check again or take up a new skill. Everything I said is true and has been backed up by a visit from a psychic and a shaman. The shaman is more than half Native American and studied her craft under traditional Native ways, taking 7 years to do it. She said the ghost "lives" or "camps" outside the upstairs back sliding doors.
I'm not too keen on handing out where I live to total strangers on the internet. That's how people can end up dead. I don't want to join my ghostly friend!

Yes, please do not just hand out where you live. That could be very dangerous. If you would like an investigation we would be happy to come out. We would ask that you contact via our website. There is contact info there.
Also please feel comfortable that you can share your stories here and ask questions and NEVER need to disclose anything personal.
Thank you so much Robin

I modified my earlier post - but on a side note, just wanted to add something.. more thinking outloud.. than anything else... Not being native to PA - I'm not really familiar with a lot of the rich history around here, and from *purely a personal interest* - hearing that the Susquehanna area is known for its intense activity - I would guess due the various battles, especially dealing with the Iroquois / Susquehannock.. added to the tales I've recently been told by a friend who does archological digs focusing on Native American artifacts... I would love to just wonder some of these places (I understand there's even some [battle areas] here in the area I live in) .. I heard that the Susquehannock were viewed at "Giants" and Matrilinear?!?!? which is really intriguing to me, considering some of the tales my mother spun about some of her family members - especially one of her uncles. Add to that my own personal work regarding Matriarchal tribes and my 'reasearch' curiosity is kicking in - overdrive! <very big grin> I would love to find out if there are any photo's from digs where remains may have been uncovered... must make inquiries ;D (but again, that's just the researcher - kicking in) sorry to babble ... this just got me to thinking...

While everyone is welcome to their opinions of others. Rudeness is not nessisary, Margaret.
Just because one Psychic may pick up on something, does not mean ALL will. Especially one who's trying to View over the internet. My mother's talents are Genuine, I've seen them first hand. Don't beleive me.. Think of this.
Most kids in their teenage years get away with a LOT of stuff in this day and age.... Me? BAH! I never get away with ANYTHING.. She knows before I do it... or attempt to.
I've witnessed her power in relation to other people too. She's made the most skeptical of people I've ever met beleive.
So I'd just like to point something out here.
Just because she says she's unable to View something.. DOES NOT mean she's saying it's not there. It just means something is either blocking her, or the day's been too stressful for her to be able to accomplish it.
Like Me with my Aura Readings. I can't read everyone. If you have a Cats Eye or Tigers Eye, Bah.. It's nigh impossible if you actually beleive it'll hide your spirit from me.
Every Psychic is different. Just like ever Artist or Musician is different.
Everyone dances to their own Drumbeat... why should you judge if my mother should change hers?
-Rianith.
Ps. I'll appoligize now if I sound waspish tonight. Not my Intent. I'm hungry, mildly groggy, and VERY protective over my mother. not a good combo.

I am going to lock this thread now. I do not want a flame war.
First, Lynda said something *could* have been (and was interepeted) in a way that that offensive.
Margeret responded back because of how she interpeted Lynda's comments.
rianth came in at the end of everything and defended her mother.
Before this gets out of control, I will declare this over. We will all agree to disagree. If you don't understand something ASK!!!. There will lbe no personal insults.
