Whew, I can't believe I made it into work today!! Pitting my front wheel drive car against the foot of snow that fell last night.
It really didn't seem that hard though... MAYBE BECAUSE THERE WAS ONLY 1/2 AN INCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a wonderful life the weather forecaster leads, tempting us with their tales of possibilities as though they were facts.
Telling us the sky is falling with feet of snow, or that it will be 60 degrees tomorrow, or that there will be no rain on my parade.
And when they are horribly wrong (as they often are), not one word is said about how they could blunder so badly. No, no, no, we do not talk about the past in the weather segment; only the future.
Here is my challenge and prediction. As in all aspects of business and personal life, the only thing that truly scares us is lawyers.
The first lawyer to bring suit and win a settlement for a bride or parade coordinator or ski resort that made plans based on a particular weather person's data and forecast, will change the weather forecasting industry forever.
Tom.

I'm glad the commute was safe for you Robin. LOL I'm glad you made it to work Tom. Classes at BU were canceled today. We have at least 10" so far and it's still coming down pretty hard.

My hubby also works at the Federal Prison. I make him call me when he gets there since he's coming from Scranton.
