Is it possible that a place could have a lot of negative energy by a living person and not a deceased person? There is a place I go to every now and then and I spent a week there the other week. I was extremely happy when I got there but after an hour of being there I was fuming mad. I was angry the whole entire time!! As soon as I got home, I went back to my normal happy self!
When I first met the guy that owns the place, I immediately knew I didn't want to be around him. He seemed to mean and bitter.
I just get a weird feeling everytime I'm in there. I don't like the place at all. But since I feel it's the landlord's energy doing all this, there really isn't much I can do to protect myself besides doing a lot of blocking.

In my opinion there is definitely a chance a living person gives off good or bad energy. Personally I call them vibes and I get them from people all the time

Yeah, and I will get them really bad...I feel like I was that guy. I even asked someone if he was a mean and bitter person and they said yes because of some events that had taken place. I guess I'll have to learn to block it out until he leaves that place or not go often. lol

Trust your feelings - Yoda (I think, maybe Obiwan)
I have know idea how to measure it, but it is my experience that people bleed emotional energy and there are tons of examples out there:
Sporting events: Pep rallies, Home field advantage
Church services or Weddings: emotional uplift
Creepy situations: One person becomes scared and it spreads to everyone else.
And to a larger degree this could be attributed to mass hysteria, riots and angry mobs.
And at a personal level: Hugs Blessings laughter the list goes on and on...
Just my 2 cents Tom.

I'll second toms post and then raise you one: did you ever notice that at a casino (not that I go often) there is always a positive feeling? Have you ever had someone's bad mood affect you? have you ever just walked into a room and felt the tension?
Some belive that there is a "force" that flows between humans and that force carries the emotions. Some people think is the pheremones as well. We smell the emotions.
FYI, Casinos use a spray that mimics the pherimone between a newborn and it's mother. It is used to create a feeling of trust.
just my 2 bits.

wow that's interesting about casinos. I just feel that this person's emotions have taken up the whole house and they only live on the first floor but it's this man's house and he rents out the upstairs. I now dread going there so I asked the person to move. Not only because of that but I feel the place is unsafe. Thanks for listing your thoughts guys. Very good points.

It's very true.....I myself am guilty of it....when I am feeling negative or getting negative vibes from someone else, I try to "bleed" it out. Like the reverse of siphoning. I don't want to spit it all out so I try to slowly ease it out. I've watched other people feel it and THEIR moods change. I've felt it from other people. Mostly, you will get it with negative feelings. Doesn't happen too often with happy thoughts Tinkerbell. Happy is a calmer feeling. Mad is a sudden adrenaline surge and that fuels the projection of the emotion. Like this ---- happy is a ball tossed from a T Ball player --- angry is a fastball tossed at your head by a major leaguer. Happy is infective yes but not generally fueled by adrenaline.

They say (and don't ask me who 'they' are) that empathy is the simplest of psychic abilities... that is, sensing the emotions of others.
And I would hazard to say that like with other psychic abilities, there is probably both a transmit and a receive factor to it.
Michelle, we know you are sensitive. It is entirely possible that the guy is an empathic transmitter and just doesn't know it... or maybe he wants everyone to be as miserable as he is.

Thanks Thomas. I haven't been to the house in over a month and the last time I was there I burned a lot of sage incense and it made me feel better, of course I saw the guy and he was in a good mood at the time.
