this is going to be kind of long and I will say sorry now. On January 27, 2005 my mom (who was my best friend) died of lung cancer. the following week I was buying the weekly town paper with her obituary in it and out of the blue I decided to buy a power ball ticket. I never play the lottery. I got my ticket, went to my car and looked at the numbers. The first two numbers were 11 14. My mom was born on November 14, 1951. I won $35 on the ticket. Some time later, I was traveling home from my step sisters home in NY and an old appointment card for my mom fell out of the visor when I was going down the road. The appointment was for January 3. I bought a power ball ticket that day (I play regularly now) and the first two numbers were 01 03! I didn't win anything but what are the chances of those same numbers coming up like that? Many other things have happened as well over the last year. Over the past few days I have been thinking a lot about my mom. I stopped for gas this morning on the way to work and the receipt had the date and time stamp on it. the date was 07/14/06. And the time of purchase? 07:14:06!!! Don't get me wrong, I am not some lottery freak or anything, I haven't bought a ticket in months. It is just strange isn't it? Tell me what you guys think.

You should look into numerlology, sometimes you can look at events in your life and in numerical terms they happen in repittion or sequence. My wife and I started dating on a 3rd, she was born on a 1st, I was born on a 2nd, we became engaged on a 4th. We got married on July 26, so I don't know where that fits in yet, but our son is due on sept 17, so who knows, he may come early on the 5th. A way of looking at yours might be that your mother did make those things happen with the lottery ticket and the card, thus making you think something of it and connecting her to it so that anytime she is around, she maybe letting know with things like the reciept. Just a theory like everything else

I would also start paying attention to clocks and such, not just numbers you can see, but chimes and what not

Rationally speaking, it was probably just coincidence. How many times do people play some combination of dates or ages and it never pays off... but one time they hit a small percentage of the whole big winning number and suddenly it is something supernatural. It's just a matter of odds in most cases. I take it you have only played the lottery twice from what you said above, and both times had some striking coincidences involved. But how many other people have done the exact same thing only to come up empty handed? It's a matter of statistics, it would happen to someone eventually... probably several someones.
But if we assume there was something supernatural to it, then one of three possibilities exist:
1) Your mother attempted to help you make it rich, but you weren't looking for all the signs. 2) Your mother was just trying to let you know she was thinking about you in perhaps the only way she could. 3) There is some bit of precognitive abilities within you with number combinations that are intimate with you.
Number familiarity is a strange thing. I can't tell you how many hundreds of times I have just happened to look up at the clock for no reason whatsoever and seen the number 222. It doesn't mean anything to me, mind you... just seems strange that that number has haunted me so over my life. I even lived in room 222 in college for a short while, and had locker 222 a couple times here and there. Does it mean there is something supernatural about it? Some sort of intimate connection between me and the number 222? Or is it that I have somehow trained myself to be subconsciously alert for that number? Who can say?

Now that's exactly what I like about this group, we can look at both sides of the coin. The other group I was with would have said to play the lottery 50 times a day because the spririts where helping you, the first coincidence is enough proof. It's also kinda like how many times have you ever gotten a bill or change that came to $6.66? I have several times, but I highly doubt that satan is tying to say hi to me. But like I said before, keep you mind open to it on the other hand, you never know, like I always say, the world was once flat.

That is strange. I was at Wendy's on Monday and the order came to $6.66. The food was for my daughter so that explained it. Also, I was born on the 17th 1971 my boyfriend on the 18th my daughter 19th 1991 my son the 20th 2001 my mom was born in 1951.
